Superintendent – Paving & Underground Utilities
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
We are a growing paving and underground utility contractor seeking a hands‑on Superintendent to oversee field operations on a variety of local projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with civil site work, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and schedules efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day‑to‑day field operations for paving, grading, and underground utility installations
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and workforce to ensure timely project completion
- Ensure job site safety, quality, and compliance with project plans and specifications
- Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and field teams
- Track production and help maintain project schedules and budgets
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, paving, or underground utilities
- Proven leadership in managing crews and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of DOT standards, utility installation, and asphalt paving
- Ability to read plans and interpret specifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
