Event Specialist for the Washington County Dixie Center
Part-time, no benefits
$16.43 per hour
Works event set-up at the Dixie Center including tables, chairs, stages, drapes, barriers etc.
Follows diagrams and sketches to arrange tables, chairs, booths, and electrical outlets as per customer specifications.
Monitors equipment and supplies for safe and efficient event operations according to customer requirements, fire code, and Dixie Center policies.
Ensures smooth and professional operation of scheduled events, serving as a Dixie Center representative.
Performs guest service functions during events, ensuring client and customer comfort and safety.
Monitors crowd flow, assist patrons, and contribute to security and safety during events.
Respond to and resolve emergency situations, medical emergencies, or security incidents during events.
Assists coordinators, supervisors, and clients in event related problem-solving.
Monitor, maintain, and clean facilities before, during, and after events.
Performs general custodial responsibilities, including cleaning, trash receptacles, sanitizing, and maintaining restrooms, carpets, floors, windows, and furniture.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from high school; plus, one year customer service experience; experience in a convention facility helpful or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
