Job Summary

The Field Service Representative (FSR) assesses and meets member needs by using AAA skills to assess, advise, and assist members with their financial needs.
FSRs provide value through loan servicing transactions and cross‑selling products and services to help our members achieve their financial dreams.

Full Time:
Monday–Friday 8:40am–6:15pm;
Saturdays 8:40am–2:15pm (Day off during the week when a Saturday is worked)
- Starting pay of $19.00 per hour, with potential increase based on experience.

- Member Focus:
Provide exceptional member service, assess member needs, open new and service existing accounts, explain products and services, educate on options, cross‑sell products, increase member satisfaction, build membership base, and meet sales and service goals. - Use lead lists to make outbound calls to existing members for product consultation.
- Resolve problems by clarifying complaints, determining causes, providing solutions, expediting corrections, and following up.
- Use MACU New Member Onboarding approach for thank‑you notes and calls.
- Loan Servicing & Origination:
Accept, review, and approve loan applications; interview applicants; review credit reports; cross‑sell loans; prepare documentation; initiate credit reports; conduct closings for home equity, personal, and auto loans. - Ensure compliance with all regulations (Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, Regulation
CC, Regulation
DD, etc.). - Liaison to Business Services and community outreach via outbound calls and SEG events.
- Perform teller duties as needed.
- Represent the credit union professionally.
- Keep work area neat and respond to communications promptly.
- Participate in product knowledge courses.
- May require travel to other branches and perform other assigned duties.
- Experience:
≥1year retail banking or related sales and customer service experience. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Licenses &
Certifications:
Valid driver’s license, must qualify annually as a Mortgage Loan Originator (S.A.F.E Act), Notary Public (optional), NMLS Certification. - Training:
Complete Mountain America Accounts and Lending required regulatory and compliance trainings. - Skills:
Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) beginner–intermediate, typing ≥35wpm, strong communication, multi‑tasking, mathematical calculations. - Languages:
Bilingual in English/Spanish qualifies for extra pay.
Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands, stand, walk, kneel and crouch occasionally; vision at 20inches and 20feet; lift up to 10pounds consistently and up to 50pounds occasionally; moderate noise environment.
