PrimaryJob Duties
- Promote Sky West travel privileges to all employees.
- Educate employees about travel privileges and provide travel‑related advice via phone, chat, email, forums, presentations, and in‑person interactions.
- Learn, review, and assist with travel policies and procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs of employee travel questions and issues.
- Enter and manage information in Sky West's Travel Authorization System for eligible employee travelers.
- Write travel bulletins and articles for Sky West Online.
- Process travel requests for company and business travel, including flights, hotels, and car reservations.
- Collaborate with representatives from other airlines.
- Process emergency travel requests.
- Assist with Sky West People Programs events.
- Execute various administrative projects.
- Track and record work, compile quarterly reports using collected data.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Pass a pre‑placement background check and drug screen.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Interact and cultivate positive relationships with departments and frontline employees.
- Professional communication skills via telephone, email, and online chats.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with airline reservation systems (plus).
- Quick learner who can adapt to change.
- Strong understanding of Sky West policies and procedures.
- Team‑player, works well in an open team environment.
- Open to feedback and able to adapt to change.
- Ability to present in front of groups.
- Multitasking ability.
- Flexible schedule to work some holidays.
- Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Expected schedule: 16–20 hours per week.
- This is an in‑office position; no remote work is available.
- Work environment with moderate noise levels (business office with computers, printers, light traffic, group setting).
- Training period: 6–9 months with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday.
- Post‑training schedule:
Wednesday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. - This is a part‑time position.
- Fixed wage: $15.50 per hour.
- This is not a Department of Transportation safety‑sensitive position.
