Full Time;
Monday – Friday 8:40 am – 6:15 pm, Saturday 8:40 am – 2:15 pm (Day off during the week when a Saturday is worked)

- Provide exceptional member service by assessing needs, advising solutions, and assisting in transactions such as opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and explaining products and services that meet members’ needs.
- Recognize member needs, educate on financial management options, and cross‑sell products and services through a consultative approach.
- Consistently focus on increasing member satisfaction and account retention; meet sales and service goals.
- Use lead lists to make outbound calls to existing members for additional consultation on MACU products and services.
- Resolve problems by clarifying complaints, determining causes, providing solutions, expediting corrections, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Follow up with thank‑you notes and phone calls using the MACU New Member Onboarding approach.
- Maintain cash drawer and initiate wire transfers, cashier’s checks, and cash advances.
- Create VISA cards and process IRA transactions, certificates of deposit, and redeem savings bonds.
- Exercise judgment to place appropriate check holds and issue fee reversals.
- Assists fraud victims by processing fraud disputes.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions per established policies and procedures.
- Assist in opening and closing branch procedures.
- Responsible for branch security, including vault combinations, security codes, and member information.
- Represent the credit union professionally in dress and actions.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area.
- Respond promptly to emails, voicemails, missed calls, and other communications.
- Actively complete product knowledge courses.
- Travel may be required.
- Comply with all regulations as required by law.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least six months of customer service experience.
- Industry experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

- Products & Services
- Teller Follow‑up Training
- Proficient computer operating skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Thorough knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to identify lending opportunities and make recommendations.
- Ability to cross‑sell financial services to create exceptional member service.
- Ability to perform financial calculations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms consistently.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch occasionally.
- Close vision (clear at 20 inches or less).
- Distance vision (clear at 20 feet or more).
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- No unusually environmental factors.
- Noise environment moderated (business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
