Course description:
Examines modes of practice and potentials, and the licensure and responsibilities of a landscape architect.

Positions available: 1 | Estimated TA support:
None | Estimated course enrolment: 29 | Class schedule:
Wednesday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm | Sessional dates of appointment:
January 1 2027 to April 30 2027.

Salary (per half‑course, inclusive of vacation)

Sessional Lecturer I: $9,997.58 | Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $10,699.22 | Sessional Lecturer II: $10,699.22 | Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $10,953.96 | Sessional Lecturer III: $10,953.96 | Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $11,228.90

Minimum Qualifications

Professional degree in Landscape Architecture and minimum 10 years of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience mentoring landscape architects toward licensure is preferred. Some experience teaching landscape architecture courses at the graduate level is preferred.

Description of Duties

Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials; supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work; submission of grades; dealing with student enquiries, appeals, and petitions; and student contact hours.
