331h1s: advanced cell biology (25% fce of full course). The development of multicellular organisms is dependent on complex cell‑cell and cell‑matrix dynamics. The course examines the molecules and mechanisms involved and how they act in concert to regulate distinct developmental and physiological events. Emphasis is placed on the experimental approaches and technology used to study the molecular interactions and dynamics that alter structure‑function relationships in cells and organisms.

qualifications

phd in cell biology research or related field. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is required. Prior experience teaching this or similar course at university level is preferred.

duties

delivery of lectures prepared by other instructors in this course; design and delivery of review sessions; prepare and grade assignments and tests in accordance with university regulations as described in the faculty of arts & science and hold office hours.
