Quantitative Research Methods - Course description: The objective of the course is for students to develop an understanding of common research approaches and procedures, and the application of statistical techniques in current use in the study of physical activity and health. Topics include research design, descriptive and inferential statistics, non-parametric, univariate and multivariate analysis of variance, correlation, and regression.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD preferred in a relevant area, or combination of relevant expertise and experience. Teaching experience in college or university setting is an asset.
Description of dutiesDescription of duties: All duties associated with the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs assigned to the course, if applicable. This course will be taught in person.

This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement. Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
