Key Responsibilities- Teach courses using the Neumont teaching methodology focused on active learning and engagement.
- Plan, grade, and provide timely feedback on assignments, exams, and projects.
- Mentor students individually or in groups, fostering academic success.
- Design, develop, and evaluate curriculum, including Master’s program coursework.
- Participate in course development and curriculum redesign for effectiveness.
- Submit teaching materials to the Neumont vault upon completion of each course.
- Collaborate with the Program Chair and supervisor for personal and course development.
- Use mid‑quarter and end‑quarter evaluations to improve teaching practices.
- Attend faculty meetings and committees to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain an updated syllabus and course materials in the LMS.
- Provide a safe learning environment and resolve student concerns.
- Develop assessments measuring student learning and provide accurate feedback.
- Offer at least one to two hours of open office hours per weekday.
- Meet course schedule and academic calendar expectations.
- Minimum four years of experience in software engineering, agentic AI, and related fields.
- Proficiency in core languages and frameworks:
Python, Java, JavaScript, Type Script, ReactJS, Angular, VueJS. - Experience with REST APIs, SQL, and familiarity with No
SQL, mobile app development, UI/UX fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience with LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic), prompt engineering, and agentic AI workflows.
- Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), RAG, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Auto Gen, CrewAI.
- Understanding of LLM evaluation frameworks, Lang Smith, Ragas, and multi‑agent orchestration.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and version control; experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Teaching and pedagogy skills: willingness to learn, student engagement, curriculum design, active learning techniques.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, conflict resolution, and ethical conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
Master’s preferred. - Teaching or mentorship experience is an advantage.
Full‑time, 40‑hour week. Exempt position with occasional evenings and weekends on advance notice. Physical duties include sitting and standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
