Course description: An investigation of historical and contemporary art incorporating collage as a central methodology. The evolution of collage as a means of expression is explored through studio-based projects and lectures.

Minimum qualifications

MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist with a collage-based practice. Applicants may be asked to supply references.

Preferred qualifications

Internationally recognized practice.

Description of duties
  • Preparation and delivery of course material
  • Managing digital teaching materials
  • Supervision of teaching assistants
  • Preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations
  • Marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours
  • Some management of printmaking studio and supplies is required
