Course descriptionThis course focuses on mathematical concepts and skills needed for success in first‑year university math and science courses, developing quantitative reasoning, understanding functions, and workshop‑style sessions.

Responsibilities- Design, prepare, and deliver course content, including lectures.
- Develop and administer assignments and tests.
- Mark and grade student work, submit grades to the College.
- Coordinate with instructors of other courses in the Academic Bridging Science stream.
- Maintain reasonable hours of student contact outside scheduled classes.
- Use Quercus, the web‑based course management system, to communicate grades, announcements, materials and resources online.
- Master's Degree in Mathematics or related discipline.
- Graduate work in a related field.
- Teaching experience at the university level.
- Ph.D. and experience teaching in Woodsworth’s Academic Bridging Program or another university‑level access program.
Salary as listed above, including vacation pay; benefits consistent with the collective agreement.
