LLE M.Ed. Field in Language Teaching candidates will work alongside experienced host teachers to actively participate in all aspects of language instruction such as curriculum and lesson planning, assessment development, differentiated instruction, working with individual students, and developing a deep understanding of language instruction across various age groups. The practicum aims to provide clarity, valuable teaching experience, connections, and employability through authentic lessons and dedicated support.

SalaryAs of September 1, 2026, the minimum stipend is $9,972.475 (inclusive of vacation pay) for a half‑credit course. As of January 1, 2027, the same minimum stipend applies. Salary may be prorated based on the appointment percentage.
Minimum Qualifications- Doctorate degree in an Education‑related field.
- Demonstrated currency and mastery of the subject area (e.g., scholarly publications establishing expertise).
- Prior graduate teaching experience in this area.

Description of Duties- Prepare, organize, and teach the half‑course graduate seminar.
- Be available to students seeking assistance between classes.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on student work.
