Lecture – Wednesday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM;
Tutorial – Wednesday 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Number of positions: 1
Sessional dates of appointment: 1 January 2027 – 30 April 2027. The position includes completion of any coursework and grading not completed by 30 April 2027.
Salary (per half‑course, inclusive of vacation):
- Sessional Lecturer I: $9,997.58
- Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $10,699.22
- Sessional Lecturer II $10,699.22
- Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $10,953.96
- Sessional Lecturer III $10,953.96
- Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $11,228.90
- Preferably holding a Ph.D. or working towards a Ph.D. degree with extensive experience in forest ecology and entomology.
- Teaching experience is an asset.
- Co‑teach course with professor.
- Prepare and deliver lectures.
- Organize guest speakers.
- Maintain course notes and readings.
- Arrange lab and fieldwork sessions.
- Set and mark course assignments, including mid‑term, essay, final examination or other assignments, with support of a TA.
- Compile, record and submit final marks.
- Be available to students through regular office hours.
