A studio course examining the particular properties of various time‑based art forms, including audio and audio installation, video and video installation, interactive performance and other time‑based media used by artists. Readings, gallery visits and screenings and presentations provide background to these art practices. Students produce projects responding to assignments.

Note:
if rates in the collective agreement differ, the rates in the agreement shall prevail.
Minimum: MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist showing digital media, computational, and/or artist’s moving image art. Applicants may be asked to supply references.
Preferred: Internationally recognized practice.
Duties- Preparation and delivery of course material
- Managing digital teaching materials
- Supervision of teaching assistants
- Preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations
- Marking of student work and submission of grades
- Dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions
- Student contact hours
