Position Title:

Sessional Instructional Assistant – International Business in World Economy (Syllabus RSM
2123H)

Campus:
St. George (Downtown)

• Assist in grading assignments
• Proctor final exams
• Invigilate tests and exams as required
• Hold tutorials and office hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Graduate degree with strong academic background in Economics
• PhD preferred or suitably qualified graduate
• Familiarity with course materials and educational concepts
• Previous TA experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience is more important than the need to acquire experience for the posted position

Courses may be online or in-person; candidates must be available and comfortable with both formats.

September 1 to December 31 2026

Minimum hourly rate: $55.25 per hour as of September 1 2026, plus 4 percent vacation pay.

Position posted in accordance with CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
