Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Location: St. George
Job Summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Systems Engineer (T02 level) to support the Sentinel Test Network, specifically the Launch Execution Network (LEN) within the System Test Team. The position is located in Roy, Utah (or Vandenberg AFB, CA) and may offer relocation assistance. Travel is required approximately 10% of the time. A U.S. Government Secret Clearance is required at time of application, with a current investigation date within the last six years.
Enhanced Security Clearance screening will be conducted as needed.
- Support the development and deployment of the Sentinel Test Network to support flight testing at Vandenberg Space Force Base.
- Develop system architecture and requirements.
- Assist in engineering network solutions for new and existing systems.
- Conduct system performance assessment, requirements analysis, verification and validation, design, development, and integration.
- Create technical reports and present metric reports.
- Interface with internal and external customers.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience.
- No experience required with a Master's degree.
- U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, current and within scope at time of application.
- Ability to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable timeframe.
- Three months of experience with DOORS or CAMEO.
- Experience with Systems Engineering Principles or an understanding of Systems Engineering.
- Understanding of functional requirement development, requirements analysis, functional analysis, trades, and architecture definition.
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ICBM concepts.
- Experience soliciting input from internal and external stakeholders, synthesizing data, and communicating complex results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira.
- Advanced use of standard Microsoft Office products and development tools.
- Experience with modern MBSE principles and SysML modeling language.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last six years.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 – $. The range is a guideline and may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Certain positions may be eligible for Long‑Term Incentives.
