The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Senior Manager Controller to own the financial backbone of our organization. This role is a unique opportunity to manage core accounting operations while also playing a strategic role in financial planning and process improvement. You’ll partner directly with the COO, helping to shape our growth through sound financial stewardship and efficient systems management.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage all day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll (via Extensis), general ledger, and month-end close
  • Process bi-weekly invoices (7–12 per cycle), including through Ariba for enterprise clients
  • Run payroll for approximately 60–70 W2 employees and 10–15 1099 contractors
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, track cash flow, and support budgeting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with the COO to develop financial models and inform strategic decisions
  • Lead accounting process improvements and automation within Quick Books and integrated systems
  • Partner with external CPA for audits, tax filings, and compliance needs
  • Uphold strong internal controls and cost-management practices
What You Bring
  • 7–10+ years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally within staffing, consulting, or professional services
  • Expertise in Quick Books, payroll/PEO systems (e.g., Extensis), and Ariba invoicing
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a hands‑on approach to solving problems
  • Strong communication and project management skills — you know how to own the numbers and tell the financial story
  • Bonus:
