Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Therapist at Cottonwood Healthcare, located in St. George, UT. The Speech Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting patient progress, and providing education to patients and families.
Qualifications- Expertise in Speech Therapy with knowledge of treatments for Speech and Dysphagia-related conditions
- Understanding of Communication and Language Disorders and their therapeutic interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to develop tailored treatment plans and monitor patient progress effectively
- A Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or related field is required
- Current state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in Utah
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) issued by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred
- Experience in long‑term care and skilled nursing settings is a plus
