- Assess:
Perform comprehensive assessment of physical, social, and psychological status; gather and evaluate information from the interdisciplinary team, patient, family, physician, and others. - Plan:
Use assessment information and critical thinking to develop an individualized plan of care. Involve patient, family, and team to educate and prepare for ongoing support needs after the current episode of care. - Implement:
Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration. Deliver or delegate care consistent with the plan, guidelines, and licensure. Prioritize and organize patient care delivery, time, supplies, and resources. - Evaluate:
Assess patient response to interventions, review goal achievement, and adjust the plan of care as needed. Reassess changes appropriately. - Professionalism:
Promote the nursing profession, comply with regulatory standards, practice within licensure, document accurately and timely, and understand legal implications of care delivery.

- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start of employment.
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.
- As of 4/27/2025, a BSN is required. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements in place at the time of hire or promotion.
- Ongoing ability to see and read information, monitor patients, and operate equipment.
- Frequent verbal communication with patients, families, and staff; respond quickly in emergencies.
- Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and document care; frequent computer use.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment; navigate crowded environments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient transport.
- If driving is required, ability to drive a vehicle and observe road and traffic signs.

Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly range for this position is $34.53 - $52.25 (actual rate dependent upon experience).
