Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems (NBH) has been providing mental health and substance abuse services to residents across Nevada. By collaborating with a diverse network of experienced behavioral healthcare providers, we have built a community-based care system that offers members personalized options tailored to their individual needs. In 2023, we rebranded as Novum Health with the expansion of our services in Arizona, California, and Utah.

Starting Salary Range
: $120,000

The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.

What’s the role?

The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services to customers.

What you’ll need to start
  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • A master s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
  • State licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist) is required. Additional certifications in crisis intervention, drug and alcohol counseling, or trauma informed care are advantageous.
  • Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health.
  • Must be willing to receive vaccinations in accordance with hospital and state requirements.
What you’ll do
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies, plans, and initiatives aligned with the organization s goals and objectives.
  • Managing and optimizing operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Monitoring and analyzing operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Managing and developing a high-performing operations team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain effective vendor and supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operations.
  • Identifying and implementing technology solutions and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Continuously assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive operational innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborating with senior management, the multidisciplinary team, and providing operational insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
