Job Description & How to Apply Below

Monovo is a virtual health system focused on improving patient outcomes and preventing adverse health events. We partner with physicians and healthcare organizations to deliver high-quality care through innovative monitoring tools and virtual clinical programs.

Monovo exists to make personalized, preventive care accessible to more people. We believe better outcomes come from prevention, education, and whole‑person care – delivered continuously by a real care team, supported by technology, not just during a visit.

About the role

Monovo is hiring a Clinic Coordinator to support revenue cycle management, medical coding, billing workflows, and in‑clinic patient onboarding. This role blends RCM support, coding accuracy, billing coordination, clinic operations, patient communication, and hands‑on onboarding support.

You will work closely with providers, clinic staff, billing, RCM, operations, and clinical teams to make sure documentation is complete, coding is accurate, billing‑related workflows move forward, and patients are onboarded smoothly into Monovo programs. This position is best suited for someone who is detail‑oriented, comfortable working with coding and billing information, and enjoys being an operational resource in a clinical setting.

  • Review and analyze medical records to identify accurate coding, billing, and claim‑related information.
  • Apply appropriate ICD‑10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to support compliant and accurate claim submission.
  • Support billing‑related workflows, including claim readiness, claim corrections, follow‑up items, and denial resolution support as needed.
  • Ensure documentation supports coding accuracy and aligns with payer, billing, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify missing documentation, coding discrepancies, claim issues, or billing workflow gaps and work with internal teams to resolve them.
  • Coordinate with billing, RCM, clinic staff, providers, and operations to keep claim‑related workflows moving efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records in relevant systems and the clinic EHR.
  • Help improve coding, billing, and documentation workflows through careful review and process consistency.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, payer‑specific guidelines, and internal documentation standards.
In‑Clinic Onboarding and Patient Coordination
  • Identify and support patients who qualify for Monovo programs based on screening criteria and provider guidance.
  • Coordinate patient onboarding and enrollment activities within Monovo systems and the clinic EHR.
  • Educate patients on program participation, devices, applications, and next steps for successful engagement.
  • Support providers and clinic staff with enrollment conversations, patient readiness, and day‑to‑day workflow coordination.
  • Provide in‑clinic support by helping resolve workflow, operational, and basic technical issues.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation related to patient participation, onboarding, and clinic coordination activities.
  • Communicate with providers, clinicians, staff, billing, and operations regarding patient updates, documentation needs, barriers, and workflow progress.
  • Support a positive patient experience through clear communication, responsive follow‑up, and organized coordination.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical coding, billing, or revenue cycle support experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Familiarity with insurance billing workflows, claim submission processes, claim corrections, and medical documentation standards.
  • Experience working in a healthcare, clinic, billing, coding, or RCM environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Comfort communicating with patients, providers, clinic staff, billing teams, and cross‑functional teams.
