MRI Technologist

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and compliance with departmental protocols. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of MRI experience and an active ARRT MRI credential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Verify patient identification, physician orders, and exam requirements prior to each procedure.
• Prepare and educate patients regarding MRI procedures, safety requirements, and contrast administration.
• Perform MRI examinations according to established department protocols.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and appropriate patient positioning.
• Select appropriate scanning techniques and protocols in coordination with the radiologist.
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness and perform necessary adjustments.
• Administer IV MRI contrast under appropriate physician/radiologist supervision according to established protocols.
• Operate MRI scanners and related imaging and information systems safely and effectively.

Requirements include:

• 1+ year of MRI Technologist experience.
• Active ARRT – RT (R)(MR) or ARRT – RT (MR) certification.
• BLS (AHA) – Required.
