WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
You will enjoy a full-time schedule, averaging 40 hours per week across five 8-hour shifts. Your schedule may flex with business needs and could include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential, as you'll be counted on to support the Front Desk team and ensure operational coverage.
YOUR DAY AS A HOTEL FRONT DESK MANAGER:
As the Hotel Front Desk Manager, you will start your day by checking in with your team and ensuring the front desk is prepared for a smooth shift. You will train, coach, and organize your staff, creating a supportive and upbeat team environment where everyone feels valued. Throughout the day, you will oversee scheduling, manage inventory, handle month-end reporting, and support revenue and sales budgets, all while ensuring your team follows hotel policies and procedures.
You will work closely with the General Manager and Sales team, making hiring and performance decisions as needed, and stepping in to assist the team whenever necessary. You'll lead by example, resolve guest concerns, and keep operations running seamlessly, always bringing positive energy to every interaction.
HOTEL FRONT DESK MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
- Hotel front desk, hospitality, or guest service experience
- Leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Experience with scheduling, coaching, training, and performance management
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, dependable, and a strong problem solver
- Positive attitude and ability to foster a team environment
- Ability to lead with professionalism, accountability, and respect
- Effective communication skills with guests, team members, and leadership
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and brand standards
- Experience with Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (a plus)
