Compensation: $25.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Position SummaryThe Human Resources Manager supports the day-to-day human resources functions of Tri-State Metal Roofing Supply, LLC. This position is responsible for maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, assisting with benefits administration, supporting recruiting and hiring, and helping ensure required employment documentation is completed accurately and timely.
This is a hands-on administrative HR position supporting employees and managers across all Tri-State locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including required employment documents, background checks, drug screenings, and E-Verify.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records.
- Coordinate employee offboarding and required documentation.
- Assist with recruiting, job postings, applicant communication, interview scheduling, and pre-employment requirements.
- Assist employees with routine HR, benefits, and policy questions.
- Coordinate employee benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, COBRA, and annual open enrollment.
- Maintain records related to employee benefits, leave, training, certifications, and other employment requirements.
- Assist management with employee handbook updates, policies, forms, and HR-related communications.
- Track required employment and compliance documentation and follow up with employees and managers when information is missing.
- Assist with workers' compensation and workplace injury documentation and coordination.
- Support payroll by communicating employee changes, new hires, terminations, deductions, benefit changes, and other necessary employee information.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, benefits, and company information.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work. Regular attendance at Tri-State's St. George office is required each weekday. Specific daily work hours will be established based on company needs and the successful candidate's availability.

Qualifications- Prior HR, payroll, benefits, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with employees and managers at multiple company locations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office systems.
- Experience with Paycom, ADP, or similar HR/payroll systems preferred.
- Knowledge of basic employment practices and HR documentation preferred.
- HR certification is welcome but not required.
