Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Position: Product Development Manager

Location: Remote (EST or CST based strongly preferred)

Duration: 12 month contract, extension or conversion likely

Pay Range: $40-$60/hour

Must Haves
  • 5+ years of experience in product development within the supplement/vitamin or nutraceutical industry
  • Proven experience managing third-party manufacturers and suppliers
  • Experience with early stage ideation/innovation process for new projects
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear insights for internal R&D, Quality and Marketing teams
  • Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical or related field

Insight Global is seeking an experienced fully remote Sensory Research Manager to join a rapidly growing health supplements company based out of Summerville, SC. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle—from ideation and formulation through manufacturing and market launch—while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge of nutraceuticals and dietary supplements, combined with exceptional project management and supplier relationship skills.

The Product Development Manager will act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, including third-party manufacturers and raw material suppliers. This individual will ensure that all products meet stringent quality, safety, and efficacy standards, while also driving innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace. This position demands a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and operational excellence to deliver high-quality products that meet consumer expectations and regulatory requirements.

This role is fully remote and will require 25% domestic travel to various external manufacturing and supplier partner sites.
