Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal with strong litigation skills to support our attorneys in complex and fast-paced matters. This is not an entry-level position, and the role requires someone who works independently, manages projects with minimal oversight, keeps counsel organized and on schedule, and contributes substantively to case progression. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-driven, and comfortable navigating complex matters in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
Prior experience working with community associations, real estate, or related practice areas is preferred, but not required.
- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Draft substantive legal documents including correspondence, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, disclosures, motions, and other legal documents.
- Assist with case strategy development and maintain proactive communication with attorneys.
- Review and organize document productions; prepare exhibits, deposition summaries, and trial binders.
- Coordinate deadlines, court filings, hearings, and calendaring.
- Conduct factual research, public record searches, and investigation related to community association matters.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, vendors, and court personnel.
- Maintain accurate entries and assist with billing-related tasks.
- Provide general support for HOA enforcement actions, disputes, and administrative matters.
- Minimum 5+ years of paralegal experience, with significant civil litigation background required.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex files.
- Experience with community association law, real estate, or municipal/governmental matters is a plus.
- Strong understanding of state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures.
- Exceptional drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a high-volume practice.
- Proficiency with legal case management software, MS Office, and electronic discovery tools.
- Paralegal certificate or degree (or 10+ year experience as a mid to senior level paralegal)
