ESSENTIAL

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review manufacturing processes, identifies, and develops opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization.
• Plan, organize, and drive facility results through performance metrics, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Improve organization’s financial performance and competitive positioning through continuous improvement of production related processes.
• Establishes quality and safety standards and tracks organizational performance.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, meetings, workshops, etc.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have Technical or Business-Related college degree. Product Management experience preferred.
• Must have minimum of ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing and operations.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 and Lean Manufacturing.
• Performs work under minimal supervision.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to operations employees.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job duties consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Frequent walking and/or standing is required.
• Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying and manual manipulation of hydraulic cylinder components.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to the Swanson Safety System in daily job duties.
