Join a dynamic mahjong company as a freelance Social Media Manager, responsible for shaping and executing the brand’s content strategy across Instagram, Tik Tok, and X. This part-time, hybrid role (approx. 20 hours/week) is based in St. George, United States. You will create, film, and edit engaging short-form videos, respond to trends in real time, and develop a distinctive, opinionated voice for X.
Community engagement, including responding to comments and direct messages in the brand’s tone, is a key part of the role. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the brand’s social presence and potentially grow into a larger position as the company expands.
- Develop and implement a content calendar for Instagram, Tik Tok, and X
- Write, film, and edit short-form video content tailored to each platform
- Monitor and react to social media trends to keep content fresh and relevant
- Establish and refine a unique, opinionated brand voice for X
- Engage with the online community, responding to comments and direct messages
- Track basic analytics to inform content strategy and performance
- Collaborate on paid social campaigns and influencer outreach as needed
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, with a portfolio of personal or client work
- Strong creative instincts and ability to adapt tone and style across platforms
- Proficiency in short-form video creation, including filming and editing
- Ability to quickly identify and respond to emerging trends
- Experience with paid social, analytics, or influencer outreach is a plus
- Excellent written communication and community management skills
- Based in or able to work hybrid in St. George, United States
- Available for approximately 20 hours per week
