Overview
No Weekends/Holidays We are currently searching for an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to work Full-Time (4 days) in our Monday–Friday ambulatory endoscopy center. This role functions in a rotating structure, serving as Charge Nurse on assigned days and as a floor RN on remaining days.
We are a fast-paced endoscopy center seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented nurse with strong clinical and organizational skills to support daily operations and quality initiatives.
Responsibilities- Coordinate day-of clinical flow.
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff.
- Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
- Assist with infection control rounding and audits.
- Ensure documentation workflows are completed appropriately.
- Assist with patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during procedures, and providing care in recovery.
Employees are expected to actively participate in QAPI activities, focus studies, and other responsibilities that contribute to the effective and compliant operation of the center. This role supports leadership but does not include disciplinary authority or independent management decision-making.
Qualifications- Proficiency in acute care nursing; strong communication skills; ability to work cooperatively with staff, physicians, and patients.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current state RN license; ACLS certification.
- Endoscopy or ASC experience preferred.
