About This RoleThe St. George Heart Rhythm team is comprised of 5 EP Cardiologists and 6 APPs. As an Advanced Practice Provider for this team, you would work mostly with one assigned physician. Here are some highlights you can expect.
- Work in the clinic in St. George, UT 4 ten‑hour day shifts Mon‑Fri with your day off determined by the department
- Approximately 1 week every 6‑7 weeks, work in the hospital including the weekend
- Cover outreach locations in Cedar City and Mesquite periodically
- Take call for consults from the ED during inpatient weeks
- Structured program in place for device training
- New position due to growth

What You’ll BringWe hire people, not words on paper. We also expect excellence, so we require:
- Current and unrestricted NP or PA Utah License, or eligibility to obtain one
- APRN or PA‑C degree from an accredited program
- AANP or NCCPA certification
- BLS and ACLS certification, and DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in a Cardiology setting
- EP experience highly desired
- Ongoing need to see, read information, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Frequent verbal communication with patient care providers, patients, and visitors, especially during emergencies
- Manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment, frequent computer use, typing for documentation, medication preparation
- Expected to lift, transfer, and carry supplies and equipment, including heavy items
- Required to walk, ambulate patients, and transport supplies; push/pull gurneys and portable equipment; navigate crowded rooms
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period
