Registered Nurse Outpatient Oncology Infusion PRN

Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for delivering specialized infusion and vascular access care. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients receiving infusion therapies.

• Provide specialized vascular access and infusion care in a supportive, patient‑focused environment.
• Practice advanced clinical skills and use evidence‑based treatment throughout the patient care journey.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary partners to deliver high‑quality care.
• Use advanced clinical judgment to monitor therapies, assess patient response, and ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.
• Build lasting patient relationships and support patients through individualized infusion treatments and ongoing education.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start of employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

• Education from an accredited institution (BSN).
• Oncology or Infusion experience.

• See and read information labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
• Communicate verbally and understand spoken information, alarms, and needs quickly and accurately.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment, frequent computer use, typing, and medication preparation.
• Lift and transfer patients; handle supplies and equipment up to heavy items; push/pull gurneys and portable equipment; navigate crowded rooms; stand for extended periods; drive vehicle as required.

8:00AM – 5:30PM, No weekends, No holidays.

St. George Cancer Center, Saint George, Utah.

Competitive salary based on experience, with a range of $35.22 to $53.29 per hour.
