Compensationand Benefits
The hourly rate for this position is $23.20 to $23.20 per hour (if both numbers are the same, that is the offered amount). Job Responsibilities- Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.
- Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods.
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
- Store food properly by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and coworkers.
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation.
- Ensure security of company assets.
- Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations (handling, sanitation, storage).
- Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing. Uniforms and/or use of PPE may be required.
