Assistant Store Manager – Botanicals (St. George, UT)

Botanicals, Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in St. George. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with plants, design, and people, and who takes pride in creating a welcoming and well‑run environment for both customers and staff.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to support daily operations, guide team members, and ensure customers have a positive experience—whether they visit our display lot, call with questions, or work with us on installations. This is a hands‑on role that combines customer service, team leadership, and creative design work with pottery, and water features.

What You’ll Do
  • Help lead day‑to‑day store operations and keep things running smoothly
  • Train and support team members to deliver great customer service
  • Assist with scheduling and managing labor efficiently
  • Design and maintain pottery displays, lot appearance, and water features
  • Coordinate and oversee customer installations
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering products
  • Handle customer or team concerns in a professional and respectful way
  • Support a positive, team‑focused work environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong customer service mindset and communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Comfortable leading others and working as part of a team
  • Problem‑solver with a proactive attitude
  • Interest in plants, landscaping, or design
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Retail or supervisory experience is preferred
Nice to Have
  • Experience with visual and spatial design
  • Familiarity with inventory systems or scheduling
Pay & Details
  • $17.00–$19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Full‑time position
