Overview of Responsibilities

The role of Backup Inventory Receiver is crucial to our operations. You'll be responsible for handling all functions and paperwork related to receiving products. This position involves operating machinery such as balers, compactors, and forklifts safely and efficiently. You'll also work to maximize sales potential by following effective receiving procedures. Keeping the receiving area clean and organized is part of your duties, and your contributions are vital to our success.

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Dependable and flexible, able to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Report any discrepancies in receiving to Managers and Buyers to address issues like damages or shortages, ensuring accuracy by comparing contents with records and invoices.
• Complete all necessary training and become certified to operate required equipment. Adhere to established health and safety procedures.
• Work independently, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with team members and store leadership.
• This position involves physical work, including moving products weighing up to 60 lbs repetitively and using a pallet jack to handle items weighing up to 1000 lbs.
• Good vision is required for detailed tasks involving invoices and incoming products.
• Basic math skills and computer literacy are essential.
• Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.
