PART TIME 12‑26 HOURS A WEEK! EARLY/LATE MORNING AVAILABILITY! $15.00 – $18.46 PER HOUR. GENERAL
PURPOSE:
ensure the quality, freshness, and product assortment are maintained in the dairy department. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, rotating product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all dairy products and services.
- Maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels.
- Confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items.
- Ensure the dairy department is cleaned and sanitized daily, meeting company appearance standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
- Receive, store, and stock dairy products including milk, eggs, juice, yogurt, butter, etc.
- Pull out of‑date product from the dairy shelves.
- Assist Dairy Manager with ordering product to meet the needs of the department based on past and projected sales.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Set a professional and positive example to others.
- Assist as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success as well as the success of the team.
- Product‑mind, customer‑mind, personnel‑mind, detail‑oriented, forward‑focused, and consistent.
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of product rotation.
- Enjoy working with and handling dairy products.
- Passion for customer service.

- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with frequent exposure to cold, slippery, and wet conditions. Responsibilities require grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, reaching; tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand, and foot coordination; hearing and responding to customer inquiries; standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire workday; and maneuvering heavy objects up to 50 pounds from location to location.
