About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, guide customers through the store, and actively sell products. You will use fashion and product knowledge to give customers relevant information, support garment refill and care, maintain presentation, and help keep the sales floor and back‑of‑house clean and tidy.
A Day in the LifeWorking at H&M means no two days are the same, but a typical day includes the following responsibilities:
Customer Sales & Profit- Provide excellent customer service and guide customers through the store and OMNI experience
- Engage and converse with customers to provide exceptional service
- Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store
- Effectively promote and sell products to customers
- Promote the Customer Loyalty App and in‑store sustainability initiatives
- Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively in all customer interactions
- Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team
- Keep up‑to‑date with fashion trends, styles, brands and competitors
- Use knowledge to share relevant information with customers
- Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues
- Follow all procedures, routines and legal requirements in the store
- Give and receive feedback to support learning and development
- Participate in onboarding and training relevant to your role
- Complete the garment cycle from unpacking to steaming and garment care
- Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice
- Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house including stockrooms
- Support garment presentation and maintain attractive displays according to visual and commercial guidelines
- Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor
- Follow best practice for in‑store OMNI services and tech tools
- Support with opening and closing of the store
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements
- Passionate about fashion and informed about our brand
- Motivated to give customers a great experience
- Communicative, creative, curious, motivated, flexible, decisive, and action‑oriented
- Enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Has sales experience in a dynamic retail setting
- Experience with customer service in fashion, retail or related industries
