General Manager

Enmarket is a regional convenience store chain focused on fresh food, healthy snacks, and friendly service across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We are expanding and seeking motivated individuals to join our team.

The Store Manager holds ultimate responsibility for daily store operations, including car wash and food service, profitability, budgeting, inventory control, customer service, safety, and employee supervision.

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop all store staff.
• Demonstrate leadership and promote teamwork.
• Motivate staff to continuously improve performance.
• Effectively address employee relations issues.
• Provide performance feedback, coaching, and conduct regular evaluations.
• Enforce personal grooming, appearance, and company policies.
• Supervise hourly employees' timekeeping and payroll reporting.
• Post work schedules following company policy.

• Develop and execute the site-level operating budget.
• Ensure steady improvement of store profitability and delivery of budgeted financial objectives.
• Maximize store sales and gasoline volume in accordance with company guidelines.
• Monitor retail gasoline prices to align with corporate strategy.
• Maintain appropriate product mix and inventory levels to increase sales volume.
• Stock shelves and refrigerated coolers.
• Minimize cash and inventory loss while operating within assigned shrink targets.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Reconcile funds and conduct inventory audits; prepare required paperwork.

• Deliver the best customer experience to every visitor.
• Greet customers with a smile and sincere greeting.
• Suggest possible purchases and promote specials.
• Assume full responsibility for the execution of the customer service program at the site level.

• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Ensure all employees receive adequate safety training and comply with policies.
• Enforce environmental and hazardous material regulations.
• Maintain security of the store and document any incidents.
• Manage customer environment maintenance inside and around the store perimeter.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Conduct new employee safety orientation.
• Inspect stores for hazards and initiate corrective action.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe conditions and promote quick return to work.

• 1–3 years of management experience in convenience store, retail, fast‑food, or restaurant operations.
• Budget and P&L understanding.
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• State of Maine applicants only: UST ClassA/B certification required or completion within first 30 days.
• Effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Availability for coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand for at least 8hours, and lift/pull/push up to 30lbs.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Lift up to 50lbs at times.
• Traverse and access all store areas.
• Prolonged sitting at a desk, computer work, and standing at a cash register.
