Salary: $42,000–$45,000 annually
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, organized, and hands‑on Regional Manager to oversee the daily operations of multiple convenience store and gas station locations throughout the Greater St. George area. This role is responsible for ensuring each location operates efficiently, maintains high standards of cleanliness and customer service, and consistently meets company expectations for profitability, compliance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, holding teams accountable, and traveling between locations to ensure every store is operating at its highest potential.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop Store Directors and General Managers.
- Coach store leadership through regular performance evaluations and one‑on‑one meetings.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
- Address employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution when necessary.
- Assist with succession planning and talent development within the region.
- Oversee daily operations across multiple gas station and convenience store locations.
- Ensure stores consistently meet company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, stocking, and customer experience.
- Verify completion of daily operational tasks including:
- Store cleanliness
- Restroom maintenance
- Food service standards (if applicable)
- Support stores during staffing shortages or operational challenges.
- Conduct scheduled and surprise inspections of all locations.
- Safety
- Brand standards
- Operational efficiency
- Develop action plans to correct deficiencies and follow up to ensure completion.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ordering procedures.
- Reduce shrink, waste, and inventory loss.
- Work with management to improve ordering practices and reduce out‑of‑stock items.
- Add new items to the inventory
- Coordinate with fuel suppliers and transport companies.
- Manage relationships with beverage, tobacco, food service, and retail vendors.
- Ensure deliveries are accurate, timely, and properly received.
- Resolve vendor issues affecting store operations.
- Ensure all stores comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with:
- Health and safety regulations
- OSHA guidelines
- Tobacco and alcohol sales laws
- State and local licensing requirements
- Prepare stores for inspections and ensure successful completion of compliance audits.
- Ensure each location delivers excellent customer service.
- Address customer concerns and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
- Maintain consistent execution of company promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Travel regularly between locations throughout the Greater St. George area.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
- Labor
- Safety incidents
- Implement strategies to improve operational performance and profitability.
- 3+ years of retail, convenience store, grocery, restaurant, or multi‑unit management experience preferred.
- Previous experience supervising multiple locations is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to analyze reports and make data‑driven decisions.
- Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and common business software.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel frequently between regional locations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent travel between stores.
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
