Job OverviewTeam Up Athletics is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Pro to join our team. In this role, you will represent our brand, engaging with schools, sports teams, athletic organizations, and businesses to drive sales of our high-quality athletic apparel, gear, and services.
The expectation is to build relationships, identify sales opportunities, and provide tailored solutions to meet our clients' needs, thereby contributing to the company's aggressive growth and success.
This is a 1099 commission-only sales role with the ability to earn six figures in the next 24 months. We do offer a ramp-up period with a sliding $2,000 base salary that declines by $400 per month for the first six months.
Key Responsibilities- Actively prospect, engage, and establish new client relationships with schools, teams, athletic organizations, and businesses.
- Present and sell our wide range of athletic products and custom services to new and existing clients in your territory.
- Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets within established time frames.
- Serve as the point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional post-sale support.
- Set and maintain follow-up appointments with clients to keep them informed of new product offerings, promotions, and company updates.
- Develop customized sales presentations and marketing materials that demonstrate the value and benefits of our products and services.
- Stay current on industry trends, competition, and key developments in the athletic apparel and gear market.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the apparel, sports equipment, or team sales industry.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain rapport with coaches, athletic directors, and other decision-makers.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple clients and tasks with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a competitive market.
