We are expanding our high‑performing team and seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to help accelerate our strong growth across Australia and New Zealand. This role plays a pivotal part in capitalizing on the increasing demand for our solutions, identifying new opportunities, and driving pipeline generation in a rapidly scaling market.
The successful candidate will take ownership of designing, running, and optimizing sales campaigns across SS&C’s full suite of industry‑leading fund services solutions. - Help generate new business opportunities through a variety of methods, including cold calling, marketing campaigns, industry events and conferences.
- Build campaigns with the sales lead to help generate new leads.
- Support strong pipeline generation within the Alternatives Investment space.
- Qualify potential prospects quickly to determine their suitability for a particular SS&C solution.
- Book qualified leads for the sales leads.
- Track all sales activities and touchpoints in SS&C’s CRM system to ensure timely, accurate and complete information is represented on sales and management reporting.
- Assist to prepare prospect engagement documentation, including discovery calls, on‑site and virtual presentations, product demonstrations, follow‑up meetings.
- Follow up on all prospect activities in a timely manner. There must be an astute strategy and execution plan for each prospect interaction.
- Build strong industry relationships with prospects and expand your professional network within the alternative investment space.
- Work with Sales to prepare detailed write‑ups on prospects that include a well‑defined strategy, tactics and prospect backgrounds to ensure internal resources and subject matter experts are prepared and briefed for sales presentations.
- Help build the firm’s brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads.
- Attend industry events and conferences.
- Build solid industry knowledge to help with Whitepapers.
- Assist the sales team with reporting and administration.
- Pre‑Sales / Business Development experience in the financial services or funds management industry or industry experience from working within financial institutions engaging C‑suite.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related area.
- Demonstrable experience in the funds management sector in Australia or other comparable markets.
