Overview

Axis’ South Central Team is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, End Customer Development to join our growing team in the Americas. The role focuses on identifying new end‑customer accounts, assessing business fit and long‑term revenue potential, and driving value through strategic business planning. The position requires extensive travel (50–75%) and is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategy to identify, engage, and nurture new business relationships that will bring sustainable revenue to Axis.
  • Secure new Enterprise accounts throughout the South Central region, expanding key stakeholder relationships and creating new opportunities.
  • Lead prospecting, initial meetings, and relationship management until revenue is realized.
  • Build concise, focused strategies with account objectives for each key target segment, aligned with the go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Execute plans in accordance with team strategic objectives, KPIs, and program goals.
  • Maintain and grow customer & partner relationships to support sales, drive opportunities, and provide feedback to increase the value of the suite of offerings.
  • Determine customer/prospect needs and build an ecosystem around them using appropriate internal resources.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to solicit, compile, and prioritize market feedback for product development.
  • Provide relevant and timely education and messaging to the industry through association involvement, trade‑show participation, thought leadership, and public speaking.
  • Serve as an internal resource and subject‑matter expert, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, demos, and localized strategic plans for target accounts.
  • Identify new markets and innovative solutions to drive additional sales opportunities, while selling the entire portfolio (Body‑Worn, E2E Revenue, New Tech Revenue, Physical Access Control, Network Audio, Intercom, S Series).
Essential Skills
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and an adaptive sales approach.
  • Expert knowledge of the physical security market and familiarity with VMS, server, software, and hardware trends.
  • Resiliency, drive for change, and flexibility.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Strong project‑management skills with consistent follow‑up and execution.
  • Ability to implement scalable programs to grow business.
  • Proven ability to build strategic and trusted relationships at all levels internally and externally, and to be a key member of cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience developing business and channels for security or IT solutions.
  • Subject‑matter expertise in positioning and winning business, with knowledge spread to salesforce and channel partners.
  • Strong relationships within security and IT professional groups or associations.
  • Technical aptitude and exceptional communication, public‑speaking, presentation, training, and listening skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years in sales, business development, account or project management, ideally in the video and physical security markets.
  • Prefer experience working within a channel‑sales mode.
Physical Demands

Compensation

Approximate pay range: $130,000 – $140,000 OTE.
