Key Responsibilities- Develop a business plan for the assigned territory that aligns with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to all targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals within the territory while adhering to all ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Develop pre‑call planning strategies for key targets.
- Build positive and interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and utilize information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop and implement specific strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverage sample programs, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Respond promptly to all customer requests with consistent, reliable information.
- Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and one or more years of pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to deliver results.
- Self‑starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to travel throughout the territory (may include overnight travel). Must reside in the territory geography.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company‑leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000 for Professional level and $108,000 – $162,000 for Senior level. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
