Position Summary

Ken Garff St. George Ford, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Parts Outside Sales Associate that aligns with our core values and acts with respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. As a group, we aim to become the most esteemed automotive group by treating people R.I.G.H.T and creating lifetime customers! The selected individual in this role will solicit body shops, mechanical shops, fleet, commercial and municipality’s regarding sales orders from new and existing customers in an assigned area or region.
They will also assist in setting up customers with business accounts and keep in touch with those customers if there is a problem.
- Provide fast, courteous, reliable information and product support to customers, dealers, distributors, technicians, company personnel and other customers.
- Travel throughout an assigned area or region to promote company products and services.
- Achieve individual sales goals by delivering excellent customer support on all products and services.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relations.
- Develop a high level of product and process knowledge.
- Interface with customers in a variety of environments and settings.
- Secure agreement/purchase order from qualified wholesale customer covering cost, transportation method, and payment.
- Pay special attention to first‑time or occasional buyers.
- Obtain authorization from customer if original agreement changes in delivery date, transportation cost or availability.
- Ensure customers understand dealership policy on returns, damage, overship, shortage, and credit.
- Maintain catalogs, technical bulletins, and price schedules as requested.
- Respond to telephone in accordance with dealership policy.
- Contact assigned customer list providing follow‑up and solicitation of new business.
- Operate and maintain dealership owned equipment in a manner consistent with dealership policy.

Qualifications- Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S., have a valid driver license and professional appearance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; previous experience preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Creative and logical with solving problems that arise, while expressing empathy for customers.
- Experience using computer software programs, Internet and Email.
- Strong record of positive customer satisfaction.
- Must be skilled at listening, problem solving and communication.
- Energick, enthusiastic and team oriented.
- Valid in‑state driver's license.
- Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience preferred.
