Own the revenue growth of a portfolio of franchise locations, coaching owners on the marketing and sales habits that grow their business.
About Back NineBack Nine is a fast-growing 24/7 indoor golf and simulator franchise with premium simulator tech in private, climate-controlled bays, where golfers of every level practice, play, and improve year-round. Behind every location is a franchise owner building a business, and behind every owner is our marketing team.
The RoleBack Nine is one of the fastest-growing indoor golf franchise concepts in the country, built on premium experiences, strong unit economics, and a modern, performance-driven marketing engine. As we scale, our focus is no longer just generating leads; it is making sure every franchisee converts those leads into revenue.
The Regional Marketing Strategist is the team member accountable for that outcome. This is not a CRM support role or a campaign-execution seat. You will own a regional portfolio of franchisees and be measured on their revenue growth and their outcomes, not your activity. You will work directly with franchise owners as their marketing and sales coach: setting targets, installing proven plays, reading the data, and intervening early when a location starts drifting.
You will coach them on how to sell (speed-to-lead, follow-up, membership conversion, referrals, and corporate clients) and hold them accountable to doing it.
Your highest-leverage window is a franchisee's first 90 days. You'll meet every new owner as they come online, build their book of business, wire up speed-to-lead response habits, and set the trajectory so they start strong and stay strong. Beyond that window, your energy goes to the franchisees who need the most help.
What You'll Own Franchise Revenue Growth (Your Core Mandate)- Own a regional portfolio of franchisees and be accountable for their top-line revenue and membership growth.
- Score every franchisee on a red / yellow / green health model and run your calendar accordingly, most attention to red, minimum attention to green.
- Build and maintain a 90-day revenue plan for each franchisee tied to their current position and growth target.
- Run the onboarding kickoff, a strategy meeting with every new franchisee in their first 90 days: baseline, revenue and membership targets, and first campaigns.
- Speed-to-lead: coach and enforce fast, consistent first contact with every new lead, and build the follow-up cadences that turn contacts into booked demos.
- Selling fundamentals: teach franchisees how to build and work a book of business, follow up with the right people, handle objections, and close (including booking-to-show-to-membership conversion).
- Retention & expansion: coach member retention, win-back, and reactivation of dormant accounts.
- Growth channels: help franchisees pursue corporate / group / B2B clients and stand up referral programs that compound.
- Paid media guidance: help owners build, read, and optimize Meta and Google ad campaigns (spend, targeting, creative, cost-per-lead).
- Scalable resources: develop playbooks, scripts, SOPs, and short training videos so coaching scales beyond 1:1 time.
- Run the intensive turnaround track ('Q School') for franchisees who are in the red category (a structured 8-12 week program to get them growing again).
- Hold franchisees to activity and outcome commitments; surface persistent under-performance to leadership early.
- Drive a non-negotiable first campaign launch within 30 days of a new franchisee's onboarding.
- Be the eyes and ears of your region and share a weekly 'what's working' insight with your Marketing Strategist team.
- Report monthly to leadership on wins, blockers, and resource needs; spread proven tactics across the network fast.
The role runs on a structured rhythm across three horizons:
1:1 working sessions with active and at-risk franchisees (what ran, what happened, what we adjust); a portfolio performance scan; real-time campaign activation support; a shared 'what's working this week' insight.
MonthlyRegional performance review; a group coaching session introducing one new play; updated 90-day plans; a Regional Insights report to leadership.
Full portfolio scoring; playbook refresh based on proven results; goal-setting with each franchisee; a regional training event and the next Q School cohort.
What We're Looking ForRequired:
- Demonstrated experience in sales, sales enablement, sales coaching, or customer success with a clear revenue mandate.
- Strong grasp of lead conversion fundamentals: speed-to-lead, follow-up cadence, pipeline management, objection handling, and closing — with an understanding of membership / recurring-revenue sales cycles and the ability to coach someone else to close better.
- Comfort coaching and holding others accountable, able to balance genuine support with firm accountability.
- Working fluency with CRM platforms (Go High Level preferred; Hub Spot / Active Campaign relevant). Enough of an understanding to read pipelines,…
