We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Foreman to join a growing team. In this role, you will lead crews and perform installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of low voltage systems across commercial projects. The Foreman is responsible for directing field activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while making sound decisions in the field.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Project Execution
+ Lead, coordinate, and supervise field crews and subcontractors on job sites
+ Provide clear daily direction to technicians to ensure productivity and project success
+ Analyze and resolve work-related challenges efficiently
+ Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
+ Ensure all work meets local codes and industry standards
+ Maintain a high level of job site performance through effective scheduling and resource management
Safety & Compliance
+ Promote and enforce safety as the top priority on all job sites
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
+ Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
+ Document and report all incidents, injuries, and policy violations promptly
Communication & Coordination
+ Serve as the primary field point of contact and represent the company professionally
+ Communicate staffing, inventory, and project needs to the Project Manager daily
+ Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to avoid delays
+ Submit accurate daily time entries for crew members
+ Escalate and document change orders and additional work requests
Inventory & Equipment Management
+ Track and manage materials, ensuring proper allocation to projects
+ Receive and verify deliveries; report shortages immediately
+ Return unused materials and maintain accurate inventory logs
+ Ensure proper use, maintenance, and security of tools and equipment
+ Maintain assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition
Continuous Improvement
+ Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
+ Participate in post-project reviews to evaluate performance and profitability
+ Support training and development of team members
Technical Qualifications
+ Experience installing and servicing access control systems (e.g., PDK, Salto, Genea, Mercury-based systems, or similar)
+ Knowledge of video surveillance systems (CCTV/VMS platforms)
+
Experience with structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6), fiber, and system terminations
+ Familiarity with audio-visual systems (e.g., Crestron, Q-Sys)
+ Understanding of IP networking, rack installations, and wireless access points
+ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
+ Working knowledge of low voltage standards and electrical codes

Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Proven leadership experience in low voltage or related field
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
+ Basic computer proficiency
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
+ Professional demeanor and appearance
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
+ Ability to work on ladders and at heights (10+ feet)
+ Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Tools & Equipment
Technicians should possess standard hand tools required for low voltage installation, including but not limited to:
+ Punch-down tools (66/110)
+ Screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches
+ Cable tools, measuring tools, and cutting tools
+ Basic job site equipment (tool bags, levels, etc.)
PPE (some provided):
+ Safety glasses
+ Hard hat
+ Gloves
+ High-visibility vest
Experience Level
+ Intermediate to experienced (Foreman-level leadership preferred)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of St. George, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
