Experienced Plumbing Project Foreman Wanted For A Full-Time Position!

At S&S Mechanical, we’re hiring a strategic leader to manage daily activities on commercial construction job sites. YOUR IMPACT

Our Plumbing Project Foremen typically work Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

You’ll collaborate with internal and external partners (project managers, engineers, general contractors, trade professionals, etc.) to ensure all aspects of the job are properly handled and in compliance with local codes and company quality standards. You can expect to:

  • Oversee crew members on job sites, assign responsibilities, and create daily plans to support project productivity
  • Ensure installations are accurately completed according to blueprints, engineering plans, and customer requirements
  • Proactively identify and resolve any hurdles that could negatively impact project completion
  • Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers
  • Manage job site materials, equipment, and resources
  • Maintain neat, organized, and safe work areas
  • Tackle additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects on time and under budget
PLUMBING PROJECT FOREMAN REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for someone who can successfully lead a team, provide constructive guidance, and ensure quality. If that sounds like you, and you meet the following, you could be an excellent fit!

  • 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience
  • Solid knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and codes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew and delegate tasks
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Physical ability to regularly stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds, and work in active construction environments (trenches, mechanical rooms, and elevated areas)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Journeyman plumbing license
  • Experience as a foreman or similar supervisory position for commercial projects
  • Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase construction projects
