Insulation Installer and Driver
Drive a company vehicle to job sites and install insulation in commercial and residential buildings in accordance with customer needs and organizational priorities.
Reporting to:
Insulation Location Manager
Key Activities:
- Visualize and implement Company vision and core values.
- Drive a company vehicle to job sites. Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Perform routine pre- and post- inspections to ensure suitable working nature of equipment and vehicles.
- Install insulation at commercial and residential job sites in a time-efficient and quality-centered manner.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to completed installs as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Load and unload supplies and materials.
- Effectively communicate job status and key issues to manager.
- Correctly fill out paperwork each day to ensure proper billing is possible.
- Prioritize work activity according to business needs and as directed by supervisor.
- Adhere to company safety standards and procedures.
- Complete and submit daily work reports, productivity records, and other documentation as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and
Skills:
- Works effectively with minimal supervision and direction.
- Able to perform accurate measurement and basic calculations.
- Functions well as part of a team.
- Effectively follows written and verbal instructions.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centred environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Driver License, Class D
- Medical Card
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to drive a vehicle.
- Physically able to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
- Physically able to exert up to 25 lbs of force regularly.
- Occasional work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Regular exposure to the elements.
- Regularly works with fiberglass insulation and other potential skin irritants (PPE required).
