HVAC Service Technician

Red Desert HVAC & Refrigeration is a fast-growing commercial HVAC and refrigeration company serving St. George and the surrounding Southern Utah area. We're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys troubleshooting, and wants to work for a company that values its employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Service rooftop units, split systems, package units, mini-splits, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control system issues.
• Clearly communicate repair recommendations with customers.
• Complete digital work orders using our field service software.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred.
• Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong electrical and refrigeration diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Compensation & Benefits (customize as needed)

• $35–$45/hour
