Experience in coaching basketball and working with students. Knowledge in basketball rules and techniques. Ability to communicate with students, parents and patrons.

Provides leadership and instruction to student participants on the girls basketball team; supervises student participants; reports to school principal or designee.

• Teach players the rules and techniques of basketball
• Develops players' skills in teamwork, strategy, and perseverance
• Improve players' form, skills, and stamina
• Manage, organize, and rune practices.
• Explains and enforces safety rules.
• Manages and supervises playersat all activities, overnight trips, etc. Enforces discipline and sportsmanship like behavior at all times. Establish consequences for disciplinary concerns.
• Maintain complete and accurate records as required (activity disclosure, attendance, UHSAA forms, schools forms,etc.)
• Communicates with parents and guardians regarding team rules and expectations, schedules, practices, and games
• Confers with students, parents and school staff to resolve student problems.
• Complies with all San Juan School District policies and procedures.

Placed on Activity Salary Schedule , Major Sports, paid at the end of the season.

Winter Season - November to February, responsible for practices and games.

Must submit application, resume, and copy of any license and/or documentation of any relevant coaching experience.
