Position Overview
This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of Water Trucks. Drivers will deliver water to dirt crews, paving crews, and pit areas for dust control and grade work.
Key Responsibilities- Can operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Needs to be able to do proper inspections to go through port of entry.
- Must keep time and material records.
- Must follow verbal and written instruction.
- Knowledge of different types of material and grades they are spraying.
- Ability to maneuver and back.
- Must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system.

Education/Experience- High school diploma or GED required; and two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to drive a manual transmission.
- Must possess a valid state Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with Tanker endorsement.
- Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Incident-free driving record preferred.
- May be subject to drug, alcohol, and physical agility testing.
- Ability to communicate using two-way radio.
- Basic math.
- Basic computer skills preferred.

The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
